This has been the week from hell.
As I typed the number thirteen, I realized that 13 must really be an unlucky number. I used to like the number 13 because Taylor Swift likes it, but now I’m totally on board with it being a bad number. Steer clear of it.
I’ve had a completely horrible work week. Lots of situations came up that were completely out of my control. Sometimes it’s hard being the one that has to stay calm and be the positive reinforcement. I will say that I’m lucky to have so many people in my corner.
Because this week has been so rough at my 9-5ish job, the website has taken a backseat.
I was able to come out with two articles, which is my minimum in one week.
I’ve been gaining some followers on social media, which is super exciting!! On Facebook, I now have 8 and on Pinterest 7. Woohoo! If I can keep gaining two a month, I’ll be at 100 in a little over four years. Bwahaha…..
Let’s go over where we are at with our goals:
Goal by end of September 2023:
- All articles revamped to adhere to “my new style” of writing – 46 left to do. Whew. That seems like a lot to finish in a little over a week. I’ll stay positive and not give in yet to changing this date. Hopefully I can get quite a few done in the next few days. I will say that I finished all the really old ones and those were most likely the worse.
- All articles obtain a SEO score of at least 95 – Same – 46 left to do
Goals by end of December 2023:
- Earn $50 from Affiliate marketing. – This is going to be very attainable as I’m running a Pinterest ad every day. I’m upping this to $100 by the end of the year since I’m currently sitting at $26.12. I need $100 a month just to cover my ad spending. 😅
- If not Google Adsense, find another ad placement company to use. – I’m planning to try Adsense again at the six month mark. If that fails, try something else.
- Create an eBook that I sell on the website. – One done! Taking a break from this for a bit. A lot went into that one eBook and I’ve sold 0. 😊
- 1,000 Google search engine impressions per day. – Still going in totally the wrong direction guys. I’m changing the goal to 100 impressions per day by the end of the year. Right now I’m under 10.
Next week will be five months since I created the website.
It feels like I’ve been waiting for the six month mark forever and I’m so glad it’s almost finally here. I don’t know what magical thing I expect to happen at the six month mark. However, in order to keep my positivity up during a really rough week at work, I’m going to stick to saying magical things are about to happen.
