Today, Iâm going to take a look at 7 Keys to 7 Figures : The Women Entrepreneursâ Guide to Money and Freedom by Leslie Kuster.
Book Description:
âMany women seek the freedom that comes with entrepreneurship but struggle to turn that dream into a reality. The data show that 90 percent of women who own and operate a business generate less than $100,000 per year. And 78.5 percent of women-owned businesses do not survive the first year. Entrepreneur Leslie Kuster wants you to beat those odds!
In 7 Keys to 7 Figures, she will help you see your relationship with money and business with stunning clarity so that you can stop struggling, stop playing small, build your business, and step into your phenomenal life.
This guide provides female entrepreneurs seven master keys to unlock a successful money-making business. Leslie combines stirring personal stories and powerful lessons with practical business expertise and âhow-tosâ to offer women of any age the insights, principles, tools, and steps you need to claim your freedom and create the wealth you yearn for.
Women, itâs time to rise!â
Ok so we all know my habits of picking a book. Typically I pick something by a female author as this is Finances For Females. I also usually stick to money related subjects but drifted just slightly into the female entrepreneur side of things.
I also do not want to review a book that already has 10,000 reviews and five stars. If there are already a bazillion review options, why would you read mine?
Overall, Iâm so glad I picked this! Personally, I needed a mental pick-me-up and this gave me just that.
Who Should Grab This Book?
Me. And any other woman out there that is considering breaking the 9-5 cycle and going into business for yourself.
Anyone that already has a business and needs some better habits to follow or just a friend, read the book.
Any woman that has tried to successfully start a business and has failed or is still in the beginning stages.
Even if you donât have to have an idea yet, but you want one, this book is for you. I donât know where this website is leading me and I needed this book.
Even if
âyou want to be an entrepreneur and donât have a clear business idea, not to worry. As you read this book, you will get ideasâ
Chapter One
7 Keys To 7 Figures â Going Into Details
First off I was super happy to see this is an actual book that I wonât finish in less than thirty minutes. Some books on Amazon have tricked me. Iâm now much picker about reading all of the details of a book before purchasing. This book took days to read (yay!)
I really appreciated a personal near death experience she goes into early in the book â it made Leslie Kusterâs words about going after things and treasuring every moment so much more meaningful.
Itâs honestly so motivational on a emotional level. She talks about her princess in the tower mentality. Plus how to change that way of thinking and go after what you want.
âWe need to get uncomfortable in order to make any big changes in our livesâ
Chapter One
We get comfortable with the day-to-day and donât make changes until we feel changes are necessary.
I love reading books written by women as it truly speaks to me. I feel like the following quote from the book revealed something inside of me that I hadnât admitted, but I knew was true.
The hard truth is that many of us are afraid of our own power because becoming powerful means we canât act like little girls any longer, we canât hide from our true wants, and we canât pretend we donât know thingsâ
Chapter 3
This is a motivational book. Yes, she admits that it will be hard at times and she doesnât hide that fact.
However, her ability to be honest while still giving you all the tools and inspiration to get it done is something Iâve never read in a book before. I feel like her friend now and sheâs specifically helping me gain motivation and turn my life around. đ
The Actual 7 Keys To 7 Figures Themselves
There are seven keys, spread across chapters that Leslie will focus on.
I wanted to share what the keys were and touch on each one, but then I started thinking on how I experienced the keys.
At the end of each chapter of 7 Keys to 7 Figures, she goes over the keys youâve already addressed with little blanks next to the keys you havenât covered yet. I didnât know what type of key was coming and I liked that. So Iâm not going to tell you the keys. đ
I feel like if I were to tell you, it would be spoiling a show youâve been watching for a month. I enjoyed the a small bit of the excitement I had before I turned the page to find the next key and I hope you do too.
My Final Thoughts
Iâm so glad I picked up 7 Keys to 7 Figures. It is still pretty new out there with a little amount of comments and feedback.
I love how she goes into how to become more organized with Post-It notes all over her house to keep her on track. She also backs organizing with facts like
âStudies show if you write down a task or action step, youâre 33 percent more likely to do it.â
Chapter 8
She calls the reader âbeautiful womanâ quite often. I usually cringe at someone calling me a name like that, as Iâm in the south and often I hear âsweetheartâ and âhoneyâ. I donât mind maâam so much.
However, I didnât cringe at her âbeautiful womanâ. Perhaps itâs because sheâs older and I am looking at her more as a mentor figure that is helping me gain confidence.
Finally, I know I will read this again. This is a must read if youâre a woman that is looking to start your own business, considering starting it, or have one already. You will not regret it.
Side Note â Back From Bali
I was interested enough in Leslie Kusterâs story from little to millions to check out her Amazon Back From Bali store.
The idea of a light weight cardigan has me sold. Hereâs one of my favorites:
