Update #35 – June 2025 Traffic & Income Report

Yay for another monthly traffic & income report!!

Actually, seriously. YAY! This month was a great month for me as a website owner!

I feel like my voice is getting out there and I’m having fun writing! Some articles are just pouring out of me so easily – it’s freaking crazy.

I’m excited to share with you how Journey by Mediavine is doing…Plus how Pinterest is going for me…

Oh, and I’ll also share the details on what I’ve been slacking at, as usual. 😅

I will say that I’m super proud of myself for continuing the share my monthly traffic & income report with everyone that is interested. It’s such a motivational boost for me.

June 2025 Traffic

Let’s start this by simply sharing the last six months of my Google traffic:

There’s no point going back any more because prior to December my traffic was horrible.

I started this website in March 2023, knowing nothing about websites.

My search spiked a little bit in from December 2023 to March 2024 and then it fell off a cliff to pretty much zero for many months until December 2024.

Now let’s concentrate on this month, June 2025.

My best Google impression day in June had 9,110 impressions! This is crazy high for me. 5,642 was my highest day in May. I’m steadily climbing with new articles and not depending only on two or three any longer! Yay!

I will say that the average impressions was 6,000 per day in June. That 9,110 day was the last day of the month – June 30th.

I’ve now beat my Google impressions each month for three months in a row!

May Total Impressions – 133K and May Total Google Clicks – 2.33K

June Total Impressions – 172K and June Total Google Clicks – 2.96K

Click through rate is 1.7% for the month, which I’m sort of happy with. I’ve had months over 2%.

I think I need to keep working on revamping some older articles that aren’t ranking as high.

Now let’s look at total visits from all sources, not just Google:

My goal was to break 5,000 in June and we did well above that!!! 🥹

Search engines are still most of this volume.

3,184 came from Google Search

1,130 came from Pinterest

Social Media Updates

I posted ONE time on Facebook.

I’m not giving on up Facebook, I’m just not ready.

I just read this book – Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield and it’s motivated me a little bit to strengthen my Facebook presence.

So I’m going to post every other day in the month of September.

Why September? Because school is out right now and I don’t have the mental capacity. I also don’t want to stress myself out so I’m going to concentrate on writing and Pinterest until September.

If I feel like posting something here or there on Facebook, great, but I’m not holding myself to any promises until September.

Let’s talk Pinterest.

I had 86 followers on Pinterest when this month started. I’m now at 92!!!!

I ended the month of May with 68,000 impressions and I’m ending the month of June at 93,000 impressions! YAY AGAIN!

Right now I’m pinning every other day and it’s working for me.

I really want to try once per day, but I also don’t want to stress myself out during the summer while I’m trying to spend time with the kids.

Pinning every other day is a huge accomplishment for me. This used to be so hard but I’m getting a lot better at Canva.

Challenges

Other than Facebook, which I’m ignoring, there were no real challenges this month.

The fact that I haven’t had a writing challenge in two months is amazing for me. This has always been my biggest struggle.

I think I’m starting to find the things that I really want to talk about and that’s the key.

Zero challenges this month. I didn’t struggle with writing.

It’s amazing how overcoming my writing struggles has really made the rest of the website owning life seem easier.

June 2025 Income

Let’s talk money.

What the heck happened?!?! What a beautiful income report number!!

June Breakdown:

Journey Ad profit: $66.79 (my best month ever!)

Amazon Affiliate Links: $35.68(my best month ever!)

All other miscellaneous affiliates: $37.25 (my best month ever!)

Total in June: $139.72

Ok… so this is the best month I’ve had since starting the website in March 2023. Woohoo!!!

Let’s move on and talk about expenses.

I don’t have many monthly expenses. I purchased Divi Lifetime Membership as my theme in 2023 and I’m so thankful I did.

Currently, I spend $29 on Sellfy to sell digital products. Yes, I’ve talked about suspending this for a few months while I come up with some digital items to sell…but I haven’t done it yet.

$29.50 for WordPress.

For subscriber/email list, I use Kit, which is free!

RankIQ I said I was going to get rid of if I didn’t earn over $100 this month, but I did so I’m keeping it for now!! If I don’t earn more than $130 next month, I’ll drop it.

Total expenses = $107.50

This is the first month ever that I did not lose money owning a website.

I made $32.22 after expenses.

July Goals

Bring 6,500 visitors to the site. I went up over 1,000 in June compared to May so I feel like this is achievable for July.

Write! – Keep on churning one per week. Last month the goal was to write five articles, not including the monthly update.

I wrote four. I think trying for one a week-ish is a good number for me.

Continue pinning every other day throughout the month of June. Also, (talking to myself here) schedule these in advance so you don’t get stressed out. Always be ahead.

RankIQ – Keep utilizing it to spiff up older articles.

0 Facebook goals. Just concentrate on writing and pinning.

Final Thoughts

I didn’t lose any money this month on the website!

I made over $100!!

Plus I am running 0 ads and all the traffic I’m receiving is organic. It’s beautiful.
